SureNet/Support/Email Setup/Outlook Express

1. On the Windows 95/98/ME desktop, click on the Outlook Express icon.

2. Select the Tools menu, then click on accounts.

3. When the account manager opens, click "Add" then "Mail"

4. Enter your real name in the box marked Display, then click "Next"

5. Enter your e-mail address in the box provided, then click "Next" *Note replace the word login in the example with your actual login name

6. You will see a dialog box that asks for server names. Set the "Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server" to "mail.surenet.net"

7. Next, type "mail.surenet.net" in the "Incoming Mail (POP3) Server" box. Click "Next"

8. Fill in the appropriate boxes with your login name and password, then click "next"

Important: Make sure that you use YOUR login name in the box labelled "POP account name". When entering your password, you will only see asterisks. This is for your security.

9. Enter a name that will assist you in remembering this account.

10. Choose connect using my phone line, then click "Next".

11. Choose "Use an exisiting dial-up connection", highlight the connection by clicking on it once then click "Next".

12. Click "Finish" and Outlook Express will save all of the information you have entered.
